Hendibell Home Care was created to provide home and community based services for the developmentally disabled population in the Phoenix Metropolitan area. Our goal is to provide support for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability, and peace of mind for their families. We focus on helping them achieve their full potential in living their life with ease, confidence, and fulfillment no matter their disability.

Home and Community Based Services (HCBS)

Our programs are for individuals who are eligible for services through the Arizona Department of Economic Security, Division of Developmental Disabilities (DES/DDD).

Supported Living (HAI)

Our Habilitation services are designed for individuals who choose to live in their own homes or community settings. We focus on empowering each person to develop the skills they need to lead a self-directed life. By providing personalized, one-on-one coaching, we help individuals master daily tasks—such as healthy meal planning, household management, and personal safety—while fostering the confidence to thrive in their local community.

Our care providers implement the individual’s service plan based on the DDD’s assessment, which may include, but is not limited to:

Assistance with daily living skills
Support with personal hygiene and self-care
Meal planning and meal preparation
Medication reminders and supervision
Community integration and social participation
Transportation assistance to appointments and activities
Support with shopping and budgeting skills
Housekeeping and maintaining a safe living environment
Skill-building for independent living
Emotional support and companionship
Communication and social skills development
Assistance with routines and healthy habits
Safety supervision and guidance
Support with recreational and community activities

Employment Support Aide Servicess

At Hendibell Home Care, the Employment Support Aide service is designed to ensure that every individual has the physical and emotional foundation they need to thrive in the workplace. We believe that personal or behavioral needs should never be a barrier to a fulfilling career.

Individual Supported Employment (ISE)

Our Individual Supported Employment service is designed for those who are ready to take the next step in their career journey. We believe that everyone has unique talents to contribute to the community, and our goal is to bridge the gap between your ambitions and a rewarding, competitive career. Individual Supported Employment is primarily offered through the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) for members who are also enrolled in the Arizona Long Term Care System (ALTCS)

Our Services Include:

Personalized job coaching and workplace support
Assistance with job searching and applications
On-the-job training and skill development
Assistance with communication and social skills in the workplace
Support with adapting to work routines and schedules
Encouragement of independence and self-confidence
Monitoring progress and providing ongoing support
Collaboration with employers, families, and support teams
Assistance with problem-solving workplace challenges
Support with maintaining long-term employment success
Guidance with workplace safety and professional behavior

Group Supported Employment (GSE)

Our Group Supported Employment program is designed for individuals who thrive in a collaborative environment while pursuing their professional goals. We believe that every person has unique talents to contribute to the Arizona workforce.

Services Include:

On-site supervision and job coaching
Support with learning job tasks and routines
Workplace safety training and guidance
Assistance with communication and social interaction skills
Encouragement of teamwork and positive work habits
Support with time management and task completion
Transportation assistance when applicable
Assistance with behavioral support needs while at work
Encouragement of independence and self-confidence

Non-Emergency Transportation (TR1)

Non-Emergency Transportation (DDD)

At Hendibell Home Care, our non-emergency transportation services help members travel safely to approved programs, medical appointments, community activities, employment services, habilitation programs, and other authorized destinations outlined in their Safe & Reliable Transportation Supports.

We understand that navigating the community can sometimes be a challenge. Our transportation services are designed for individuals who require a supportive hand getting to and from their AHCCCS-registered providers.

Safe and reliable transportation to approved DDD services and activities
Assistance entering and exiting the vehicle safely
Friendly and compassionate support during transportation
Transportation to medical appointments and therapy sessions
Transportation to day programs, employment programs, and community activities
Wheelchair-accessible transportation when needed
Assistance with mobility devices and personal belongings
Monitoring member safety during transport
Professional, licensed, and trained drivers
Clean, insured, and well-maintained vehicles
Support with community integration and independence
Timely pick-up and drop-off services
Compliance with DDD, AHCCCS, ADA, and Arizona safety requirements
